Italian superbike maker MV Agusta has confirmed that it will launch its bike range in India beginning 2012.
The niche bike maker’s CEO Giovanni Castiglioni has paid heed to India’s growing superbike market and decided to join rivals like Ducati and BMW Motorrad here. Since volumes will be very low the bikes would be imported as completely built units (CBUs) from Italy. The MV Agusta range consists of the Brutale series (920, R 1090, RR 1090 and the new Brutale 675) as well as the F3, F4 and F4 RR F3 superbikes.
