The Ferrari Cavalcade 2012

More than 100 Ferrari clients from all over the world will discover places in Emilia Romagna and Tuscany, connected to the birth of the manufacturer from Maranello, with their own cars from the recent production from Thursday, 28 to Saturday, 30 June on the legendary roads of these Italian regions. They will drive on the roads of the Mille Miglia and on the Savio circuit, but also on the tracks where Ferrari has raced and won several times, such as Imola and Mugello as well as Fiorano, where the cars from the Prancing Horse are developed.

The Ferrari Cavalcade will start in Bologna in the direction of Imola and the "Dino e Enzo Ferrari" race track at the Santerno river, where the participants will carry out ability tests for the regularity race.

The first day will be dedicated to the roads of the plain in Emilia-Romagna: Lugo, home of the Baracca family, where the Prancing Horse will be celebrated, along the roads of the river Po delta to visit the Pomposa Abbey, coming back via Ferrara degli Estensi on wonderful roads through the so called Pianura Padana. Friday will be dedicated to the area around Modena and the places connected to Ferrari with a visit in Maranello and laps on the Fiorano track. On the conclusive day the cars will drive though the Apennine to arrive at the Mugello circuit and later on at the Piazza della Signoria in Florence. The final stage of the 600 kilometres will lead to Bologna on the roads of the Mille Miglia with the legendary Futa and Raticosa passes.

The final check of the route has been carried out with a 458 Spider, the tour opening car.

Coming to India Volkswagen Beetle 2013 version

The concept of this car was first revealed at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and received a good response from the audience. Now as this concept is materialized into a production version the pictures and details have hit the interweb and official public debut is scheduled for today. The Fender is one of the leading companies for musical instruments in the world and is best known for its rocking guitars. Volkswagen and Fender’s partnership is expected to strengthen further with the 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Fender Edition.

Since this is a special edition car it offers some highlighting features like the extraordinary audio system that sports 400 watts of power, nine-speakers with a subwoofer. The audio system boasts of four tweeters in the front, twin speaker of 20cm and 16 cm in the front and rear respectively, Fender Bassman subwoofer of 20 cm and an amplifier that supports 10 channels. The insides of the car are made more chic and classy with the dashboard that is graced with the traditional sunburst wood which is used in the fender guitars. The upholstery of the car is lined with the matching orange contrast stitching that gives the car a more modish and premium feel. On the outside, a black metallic paint is used to finish all the models of the 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Fender Edition; the car also flaunts brushed chrome extracts on the exterior mirrors and disc aluminium-alloy wheels of 18-inches.

The headlights of the car will be bi-Xenon and the front will also showcase a big chrome dipped Fender logo. Powering this newfangled car is the 2.0-liter TSI turbocharged engine, which is capable of pumping out a maximum power of 200 PS. Along with each 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Fender three limited edition guitar picks will also be offered. It is anticipated that this 2013 Volkswagen Beetle will be developed in both left hand and right hand avatars and this is definitely a hint that Volkswagen India might also bring in the Fender Edition to the most budding car market. No official announcement has been made yet about its entry in the Indian car market but the company has confirmed that this Volkswagen Beetle Fender Edition is sure to be presented to the car enthusiasts of Europe, Australia and United States by the month of August this year.

With its central engine and fascinating body designed by Marcello Gandini for Bertone, in 1966 Lamborghini redefined the concept of Super Car. Sceptical about the possibility of selling a large number of this sports car, Ferruccio Lamborghini decided to produce it on a small scale. Between 1966 and 1969 275 models of the 350 HP Miura were made and it was not until 1969 that its evolution was launched on the market, the 370 HP Miura S.

Having become a legend with the Miura and Miura S models since their production began in 1966, in the spring of 1971 Ferruccio Lamborghini surprised the world with the new Super Car Countach LP 500. Because the demand for the Miura was still high and preparations were still underway for the mass production of the Countach LP 500, the company decided to present the evolution of the Miura, the SV model, with its wider mud guard and greatly revamped 385 HP engine with separate lubricating systems for engine and gearbox. The last Miura SV was delivered on 15th January 1973 to the son of the car manufacturer Ferdinando Innocenti.

Aprilia is a world renowned motorcycle manufacturer known for their V-engines. Aprilia rides to india through Aprilia RSV4 and Aprilia Tuono V4 R. Both bikes are having RSV4 technology in their hearts.

 Talking about the RSV4, the technology of the bike is meant to rule the road with a bike which dominates in the world of racing. The looks of the bike are very provoking because of its razor sharp lines, aerodynamics and the compact size of the bike integrated with a 1000 cc engine. The first technical feature in the bike is different types of tyre adjustments with eight settings which can be conveniently selected from a joystick on the left handle bar. It also includes the wheelie control and launch control for track use with three settings.

In this first quarter of year 2012, this much awaited premium SUV will officially be launched in India. In year 2012, Audi have targeted around 8000 sales of Audi Q3. In the Indian auto market this popular compact SUV would accomplish buzz response from buyers. Beside this, the company will also launch Audi A1 and Audi A3 in India buyer near future

When launched in May 2012, the Q3 will be the most affordable Audi SUV in India. However, there is nothing cheap about the Q3’s quality which is comparable to Audi’s line-up of saloons and larger SUVs. There is fair space for four adults inside while Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system should also ensure you can get a bit adventurous on weekend excursions. The Q3 will be launched with a 176bhp, 2-litre turbo diesel while a 211bhp 2-litre TFSI turbo-petrol engine will also be a part of the model mix. Prices are likely to start at Rs 27 lakh. The All New i-Gen i-20 launched by Hyundai

Hyundai launched the new i20 today. The new avatar is called the i-Gen i20 and this shall be available in 12 variants. The petrol variants range from Rs 473,400 to Rs 665,894, the diesel variants range from Rs 596,334 to Rs 744,013 and the automatic variant is priced at Rs 767,405 (all ex-showroom, New Delhi). The i-Gen i20 now comes with a more powerful and refined 1.2 Kappa petrol engine with Dual VTVT mechanism that makes 84bhp of power. The 1.4 U2 CRDi diesel comes with 6-speed manual transmission that delivers 90bhp power. New Fluidic Sonata Launched at 18 lakhs

 Hyundai announced the price of the all new Sonata today, the manual transmission is priced at Rs 18,52,979 and the automatic transmission at Rs 20,61,272 both prices are ex-showroom Delhi. The all new Sonata was unveiled at the 11th Auto Expo in January this year. “The all new Sonata powered by our GDi engine offers best-in-class features. Competitively priced the Sonata offers a stylish new choice to the premium customer,” Mr. B S Seo, Managing Director and CEO, HMIL said. Post the Sonata’s launch in January this year the company has received a large number of enquiries. Like HMIL’s recent cars, the Sonata too is crafted on the design philosophy of ‘Fluidic Sculpture’ where contrasting surfaces create a sense of constant motion. This sixth generation Sonata, which sports features like front and rear seat ventilation, front seat warmers, high intensity Xenon head lamps, cruise control, paddle shift, 10-way adjustable power seat with lumbar support and a 4-way power adjustable front co-driver seat. Yamaha R15 2.0 Limited Edition

The leading bike manufacturing company, Yamaha, displayed its two new editions of the Yamaha R15 at the recently concluded 2012 Auto Expo in New Delhi. Now these two models have been released for sale by the company. The stock of these two models is very limited and it has been reported that only about 500 units of each of them will be up for sale. The two editions can be booked at any of the Yamaha dealers as all of them are allowing the registrations for these versions of the R15 to be made at their showrooms. The Yamaha bikes have always been a craze among the youth because of their stylish and stunning looks but the Yamaha R15 goes a step further in terms of stunning and dynamic looks in the released limited edition version. These two limited edition models have been named as the Fiery Red Special Edition and the WGP 50th Anniversary Edition. The Fiery Red Special edition version is priced at Rs 1.10 lakhs whereas the cost for the WGP 50th Anniversary Edition has been fixed at Rs. 1.11 lakhs (ex-showroom,Delhi).

Honda Dio 2012 Facelift

The scooter Dio gets a thorough revision, with a bigger and more powerful 109-cc motor, which has been borrowed from the new Activa, and produces 8.11PS of power @ 7,500rpm and 8.66Nm of torque @ 5,500rpm. Honda claims that this will improve fuel efficiency by 15 per cent, the fiber bodied scooter will now return 55 kpl.

The re-styled 2012 Dio looks chunkier and more sporty with the new aerodynamic design. This is the first gearless scooter in India to sports tubeless tyres and in combination of Honda's 'Combi Brake System' which would improves stability and braking. Other new features include a maintenance-free battery, viscous air filter, 3D emblem and enhanced luggage space under the seat. All this for an attractive price of Rs. 42,362 ex-showroom New Delhi. The new Dio will be available at Honda showrooms from the last week of this month and will be offered in five new colours - Sports Red, Matt Axis Grey Metallic, Pearl Sunbeam White, Candy Palm Green and Leblon Violet Metallic.

Pulsar 200 NS in India

A hot-shot news came out from the satchel of Indian automotive industry, Bajaj Auto India. The homegrown cult bike manufacturer has disclosed Next Generation Pulsar, christened as Pulsar 200 NS in India. The exact launch date of the bike is yet behind the curtains but it is expected that the domestic auto giant is soon going to introduce this powerful rocking road star in country.  Indian streets have already witnessed the last four generation of Pulsar's range of bikes, with Pulsar 200 NS being the fifth generation  Pulsar showstopper

The new generation Bajaj Pulsar will get an SOHC 4 valve liquid cooled engine which is to link with six speed manual transmission gearbox empowering the new Pulsar to cruise, accelerate, and climb steep inclines effortlessely. Unlike its previous generation twin spark, the 200 cc triple spark engine of the upcoming Pulsar 200 NS produces a peak output power of 23.52 PS at 9500 RPM and 18.3 Nm of top torque at 8000 RPM. The road star will offer an impressive fuel economy of 58 kmpl at a consistent speed of 55 kmph. The next generation Pulsar will accelerate to 60 kmph from 0 in just 3.6 seconds and further sprints to 100 kmph in just 9.8 seconds. The bike stands at a whooping 1 lakh (approx.), though it seems worth to spend it on this one!
The upcoming Pulsar range of bikes resembles KTM Duke 200 style, the KTM inspired front flashy headlights. All new Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire CS launched

Maruti Swift Dzire has been launched today in India by the company's Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Shinzo Nakanishi at the Brand Centre, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, 1 Nelson Mandela Marg, Vasant Kunj. Maruti's Swift Dzire sedan climbed the ladder of success as soon as it was launched in the Indian car market in 2008. Now India’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki is here to rekindle the sedan segment with its brand new Maruti Swift Dzire compact sedan. Several things have been revived in this sedan, to make it much efficient and more impressive. The petrol variant of the new Swift Dzire promises to deliver 19.1 km per litre of fuel efficiency, whereas the diesel variant has improved fuel economy of a whopping 23.4 km per litre, which is certainly amazing for a sedan.

The company has worked hard on its looks and managed to bring the new Maruti Swift Dzire length within 4 meters. 2013 BMW X6 overview

BMW X6 created the crossover “coupe” segment, with its high-riding stance, less practical setup by way of its Quasimodo-inspired rear, and sporting demeanor. For 2013, BMW is further upgrading its niche-market machismo machine.

Differences for the 2013 model year include:
Revised foglight surrounds that are designed to emphasize the already prodigious width of the vehicle.

A “three-dimensional”-style grille that stretches out farther than the 2012 model’s.

Available adaptive LED headlights. High-intensity xenon units are standard.

Additionally, there’s a new M Performance Package available that boosts standard horsepower in the X6 xDrive35i from 300 to 315. Customers opting for the 4.4-liter BMW X6 xDrive50i can check a box for an upgraded M Performance Package that will bump their power from 400 horsepower to 440. The package also includes 20-inch wheels, black chrome exhaust tips, stainless steel pedals, an M footrest and door sills, a micro suede headliner, and optional Carbon Black paint.
The 2013 BMW X6 isn’t a huge update, but it’s enough to draw some new interest for BMW’s odd-duck crossover. Expect to see it roll into showrooms this spring.

Royal Enfield Café Racer

Here is another variant from Royal Enfield, that is, Royal Enfield Thunderbird, was unveiled during the Auto Expo, but it was Café Racer which was getting most of the peek-a-boos from the the walkers around. After capturing all the attention, Royal Enfield Café Racer is reported to make its debut in global market next year.

As far as features adorned in Royal Enfield Café Racer are concerned, it has 500cc twin spark engine that at present is integrated in Royal Enfield Classic 500. Other features integrated in Café Racer include classic rear view mirrors, scooped out and sculpted tank, a lot of chrome, clip-on handlebar, retro design for taillights and headlights, among various others. Besides the above-mentioned features, nothing much has been revealed about features integrated in Royal Enfield Café Racer but if the reports and rumors are to be believed, it is revealed that it adorns the same tank as integrated in earlier variants of Royal Enfield manufactured during the late year of 1960s.
Reports suggest that the tank will be available in black or silver color option with golden lines on it. The tank is expected to have fuel capacity of 13 litres. Prior to this, Royal Enfield had launched Royal Enfield Classic Chrome and Royal Enfield Classic Desert in the Indian two wheeler market. Rumors flying around say that due to continuous hike in price of petrol, Royal Enfield and Hero MotoCorp are speculating to launch diesel variant of their vehicles in market.

Suzuki's latest plan for india is to bring 2 vehicles
