Pulsar 200 NS in India



A hot-shot news came out from the satchel of Indian automotive industry, Bajaj Auto India. The homegrown cult bike manufacturer has disclosed Next Generation Pulsar, christened as Pulsar 200 NS in India. The exact launch date of the bike is yet behind the curtains but it is expected that the domestic auto giant is soon going to introduce this powerful rocking road star in country.  Indian streets have already witnessed the last four generation of Pulsar's range of bikes, with Pulsar 200 NS being the fifth generation  Pulsar showstopper

The new generation Bajaj Pulsar will get an SOHC 4 valve liquid cooled engine which is to link with six speed manual transmission gearbox empowering the new Pulsar to cruise, accelerate, and climb steep inclines effortlessely. Unlike its previous generation twin spark, the 200 cc triple spark engine of the upcoming Pulsar 200 NS produces a peak output power of 23.52 PS at 9500 RPM and 18.3 Nm of top torque at 8000 RPM. The road star will offer an impressive fuel economy of 58 kmpl at a consistent speed of 55 kmph. The next generation Pulsar will accelerate to 60 kmph from 0 in just 3.6 seconds and further sprints to 100 kmph in just 9.8 seconds. The bike stands at a whooping 1 lakh (approx.), though it seems worth to spend it on this one!
The upcoming Pulsar range of bikes resembles KTM Duke 200 style, the KTM inspired front flashy headlights. The next generation speed star has newly designed alloy wheels which further provide a sporty looks to the bike. The kerb weight of 145 kgs, next generation Pulsar has a fuel tank capacity of 12 Litre. The extravagant two wheeler will come adorn with a Nitrox mono-shock suspension at rear and telescopic fork in front to provide overall driveability experience. The 167 mm ground clearance and disc brakes at both front and rear ends makes it one of the best in class.
