Cheaper Formula 1 tickets available

Ticket prices for select stands at the inaugural Indian Grand Prix have been slashed considerably. The main grandstand tickets are up for grabs at Rs 15,000 a pop, classic stand tickets now cost Rs 4,000 and picnic stand passes are available for Rs 3,000. The catch? The cut-price tickets will get you access to the track only on race day (October 30), meaning fans won’t get to see Friday’s free practice or Saturday’s qualifying, which full-price tickets holders will.
With just a week before a Formula 1 car turns a wheel in anger at the Buddh circuit, JPSI MD Sameer Gaur confirmed that almost 65 percent of the tickets have been sold.

The one-day package is sure to boost sales, especially among first-time spectators who would rather see all 24 cars in action than the staggered runs in free practice and the qualifying session. The three-day package of Rs 35,000 for the grandstands, Rs 6,500 for the classic stands and Rs 6,000 for the picnic stands are still on offer.
